Couto toothpaste - small miracle hidden in a tube.
These days we are lucky that we can choose from a variety of products with different effects. For instance toothpastes. You will fine a lot of them in every drug store. Thanks to research and new technologies there are still some new products introduced into market. Everyone of us has different needs as well as different favorite brands but I’m sure that all of us are looking for quality and effectives products. Some people are above that interested in catchy design, others like toothpaste which is vegan freindly and others appreciate smaller package that is suitable for traveling. Definitely yes! When we were looking for suppliers of our products we found a company Couto SA and we were nicely surprised and attracted. Although a history of this brand and its toothpaste started deeply in the past, the products are both popular over the time and successfuly meet current requirements and trends. The Couto toothpaste is able to compete with actual offer of toothpastes and offer something extra for you. So which are the main advantages of this product:

A little bit of history:
The history of Couto SA brand started before more than 100 years when a company called Flôres e Couto was created in Portuguese city Porto in 1918. Thirteen years later (1931) it was change to Couto, Lda under managing by Alberto Ferreira do Couto.
Just Alberto Ferreira Couto together with his friend dentist invented a special toothpast called “Pasta Medicinal Couto“ with the aim to fight with gums problems which were typical for people with syfils. The invention was successful and the toothpaste become very soon one of the most known product in a Portuguese society.
Not only the content but also an original design and retro packaging made this toothpaste famos and touched the whole Portuguese society of 20th century. This national success was also supported by spot on TV and the best commercials were visible results in mounths of many satisfied customers.
Even in these days the company is still managed by Couto family, concretely by Alberto Gomes da Silva who is a nephew of the famous founder and who undertook the company after his uncle’s death in 1974.
In 2004 the company changed both its name to Couto, S.A. as well as the location and move from Porto to industry district of city Vila Nova de Gaia which is not far. The Couto toothpaste is still partly handmade. Thought the comapany uses modern laboratories and the latest technologies it continues to preserve tradition and unique historical formula.
