This port is a very special wine produced by a family business for centuries. The wine is made from white grapes that grow on old vineyards in Celeiros. It matures in small barrels of 5,000 litres for more than 40 years, achieving the highest quality. It's the best you can get from the mature white port.
A very elegant, strong white port wine with a complicated and strong aroma stems from oxidizing storage and longer maceration. The colour of white port wine of this kind also has a green areola, which is an excellent example of its maturity.
This fine port wine was fermented and then stored to the wound according to the traditional process of producing port wine. Fermentation takes place for a long time in old oak barrels.
